Elena

Hi, I’m Elena. I’m Scottish, but a bit Anglified after a very long stint south of the border. I’ve recently swapped a busy working life for a small cabin near the sea in Northern Ireland. I’m supposed to be writing a book. I've just arrived so at the moment, I'm allowing myself more coffee drinking, dog walking and staring out of the window than actual writing, but I’m calling it research..... I'm soon to start some work at the village pub, partly for the money and partly because spending every day alone with a number of half-formed plots probably isn’t good for anyone. Gillian, my Chihuahua, has come with me. She has no useful opinions about the book, but is a welcome distraction and great company. I’m excited and also nervous about my time here. I hope my gamble will pay off. Keep me company while I work it out.
