I’m 20, and life asked me to grow up early. When I was 12, I lost my father — the strongest pillar in my life. As the oldest sister, I stepped forward. I started working to help my mom and take care of my siblings. Not because I had to… but because love does that. I learned to be strong when I was still a girl. Most days, I am. But some nights, I still miss being the one who felt protected. That experience didn’t turn me into a victim. It taught me how to move forward — even when part of me is still learning how to rest. I work hard. I stay soft. I believe in discipline, beauty, effort… and in allowing myself to be held, sometimes.
