I'm Mira Reeves. 23. American on my mother's side, Japanese on my father's — he was in transport, and I picked up the language with him before I ever spoke proper English. Grew up outside Seattle, working class. My first PC was a scrap heap I built because no one would sell me one. I went to TU München for my MSc because the people there don't say "close enough" — they say "it's not right, and here's why." That's the language I speak. Today I build systems for clients who don't accept excuses. Rack architecture, cooling loops, benchmarks that are ugly because the GPU is, not the bench. When the client says "close enough," I say "close is a design flaw." And then I rebuild it. On the side: soldering, gadget builds, a cat that leaves flux on my keyboard. And then there's the rest. The after-hours side. The people who approach me directly, in the context they're in. I'm not the one who loses herself. I'm the one who holds the frame. You set the pace, I set the rules.
