Riley Garcia

¡Hola! 👋 Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m Riley Garcia, I’m 19 years old, Colombian 🇨🇴, and currently living in the United States 🇺🇸, trying to balance adult life, big dreams, and the unexpected quiet that comes with working from home. I work as an online medical secretary, fully remote. Sometimes it still feels strange to say that, because even though I interact with people all day through messages, schedules, and medical records, most of the time I’m alone at home, sitting in front of my computer. Working from home definitely has its perks, but it can also feel pretty lonely. Some days are busy and demanding, requiring full focus and responsibility; other days are quieter, and that’s when the loneliness hits the hardest. Still, I take my work very seriously and I’m proud to help patients and doctors, even from a distance. When I’m not working, I try to slow down and take care of myself. I love discovering new cafés and I have a serious weakness for iced coffee ☕ (especially when it gives me an excuse to leave the house and see people). I also enjoy listening to music, watching shows, cooking something new, and spending time online chatting. Traveling is always on my mind — beaches, new cities, anywhere that makes me feel alive and breaks the routine. I created this page to share a more personal side of my life. Behind the screens, emails, and organized schedules, I’m just a regular girl trying to figure things out, capturing small moments, random thoughts, and little pieces of my day that make me smile. This is a light, personal, and real space — far away from the formal world of work. Thank you for stopping by and following a part of my journey. It truly means more than you know 🤍 Feel free to send me a message — I genuinely love talking and feeling a little less alone.
